Bathroom retailer C.P. Hart has acquired European Bathrooms, bolstering its showroom network with the additions of studios in Windsor and Amersham.
C.P. Hart Chairman, Kevin Ohle, commented: “One of our most important objectives is to increase access to our inspirational products and services across the UK.
“Windsor and Amersham are both in our top ten target locations – therefore, we are delighted to be joining up with such a professional and long-established business as European Bathrooms. It shares our values and market positioning.”

Gary Parkes, the European Bathrooms’ director who led negotiations with C.P. Hart, believes both businesses will benefit from access to complementary product designers and manufacturers.
He noted: “European Bathrooms brings its very experienced staff, well-fitted showrooms and different and highly-respected new products to C.P. Hart.
“The European Bathrooms showrooms will be re-branded C.P. Hart, but its employees and commitment to existing customers and suppliers can only be strengthened by becoming part of a larger company.”
Integration will take place over the next few months, and the process will be led by European Bathrooms’ directors who will be staying with the business, with support from the C.P. Hart team.
C.P. Hart has traded since 1937 and was acquired jointly by Kevin Ohle and his business partner Richard Reynolds in 2008. At that time, group turnover was £17 million. In the current year, it is projected to reach £50 million.
