Furthermore, thanks to connectivity, users will have the possibility of controlling and commanding the dishwasher remotely.
It will add to the Hoover AXI washing machine range which is equipped with AI, as well as its Wi-Fi connected tumble dryer.
This project will increase the company’s drive towards innovation such as IT, robotics and Big Data, giving a further boost to research and development, allowing the company to detect, collect, monitor and analyse data from finished products.
Hoover Candy reports attention will be given to information on the operation, performance and quality of the machines to anticipate and correct any malfunction.
Beppe Fumagalli, CEO of the Candy Group, commented: “The strong focus on innovation that has always characterised the Candy Hoover Group has led us to invest in a new factory in Turkey, intended exclusively for the production of intelligent household appliances.
“The goal was to conceive and implement the development of technologies, increasing the quality of production processes and encouraging the management of the knowledge required to enhance the capabilities of all the operations performed within the factory.”
