Brassware manufacturer Hansgrohe was presented Gold at the iF Design Award ceremony in Munich for its Rainfinity shower.
The jury reported: “The Rainfinity shower range combines excellent craftsmanship with consistent proportions and an impressive mix of materials.
“With its contrasting black and white, Hansgrohe offers an outstanding alternative to the characteristic chrome look of conventional taps.”

60 winners were selected from 6,375 entries by an independent, international jury of experts and presented with the gold iF Award.
Head of global brand marketing for Hansgrohe Marc Andre Palm commented: “We’re especially proud that Rainfinity won the iF gold Award because Hansgrohe creates new accents in the bathroom with Rainfinity.
“It’s the shower range for discerning wellness and design enthusiasts.”
The Hansgrohe Group, which includes Hansgrohe and Axor brands, received a total of eight awards.
Vice president of marketing at Hansgrohe Olivier Sango said: “Once again, these eight iF Design Awards are a huge confirmation of our design goal of always combining the aesthetic design of a product with quality, ease of use, and real customer benefits.”
Hansgrohe UK has recently seen a change in senior roles with Jay Phillips becoming managing director from April 1.
