Opening of The Water Studio and increase in warehousing
Hansgrohe has opened The Water Studio, a specification centre for architects, retailers and their customers, in Clerkenwell, London.
Created by experiential design agency I-AM, it has been designed to act as a resource, hub of inspiration, and collaborative space for those involved in bathroom design and specification.
Spread over two floors and totalling 262sqm, The Water Studio features more than 200 products, four working water stations, as well as a Test Rig which uses sensors to measure and compare flow rates.

The centre will be used to deliver CPD seminars on WRAS compliance and Part G, as part of a programme of learning events.
UK managing director of Hansgrohe, Martin Mongan commented: “Customer intimacy has been a key driver for us in the UK over the past few years and this new London home allows us to get even closer to the talented A&D community.”
He added: “This means offering both practical project support and building stronger professional relationships.”
In addition, Hansgrohe has invested in its warehouse facility in Woking, Surrey, creating 35% more capacity to cater for planned growth.
The 1200sqm warehouse features additional racking, new packing bays and extra storage space, which the company reports is equivalent to 8 articulated lorry loads.
Director of finance and operations at Hansgrohe UK, Helen Kronheim commented: “This planned investment forms part of our ongoing drive to deliver our customer intimacy strategy. With this project, we needed to maintain optimum service levels during the upgrade whilst re-organising for our forecasted growth. Customer were not impacted by the change and, crucially, are now assured of receiving the same excellent levels of service and delivery lead times as the business continues to grow.”
