Bathroom supplier HiB welcomed Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Staffordshire to its National Distribution Centre in Tamworth and was presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
The accolade recognises companies who pioneer innovations, technology and invention.
During the event, the Lord Lieutenant took a tour around HiB’s facilities and met staff from across the business before presenting the Queen’s Award to HiB’s managing director Robert Ginsberg and chairman Warren Ginsberg.

Talking about the visit, the Lord Lieutenant Ian Dudson, said: “It was wonderful to present the Queen’s Award for Enterprise to HiB and to meet all the team who have contributed to the company’s success.
“It was fascinating to hear HiB’s journey over the past 30 years and see the passion and dedication that the company has to continuing innovation and achieving even more in the years to come.”
The company has recently expanded its operations department to facilitate an increase in orders and improve productivity.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the most prestigious business award in the country, with winning companies able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for five years.
Her Majesty The Queen selects the awards on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an advisory committee, including representatives of the government, industry and commerce.
