UK trade exhibition kbb Birmingham and The Used Kitchen Company (TUKC) have once again joined forces to promote sustainability at the show, which takes place from March 6-9, 2022, at NEC Birmingham.
The aim of the partnership is to encourage kitchen recycling by helping exhibitors sell their displays ahead of the Birmingham show and encourage the industry to be more environmentally conscious.
As the event’s official partner for a second year, TUKC hope to find new homes for all show kitchens, ensuring that reusable displays do not go to waste after their week in the spotlight.

TUKC launched its Kitchen Passport at kbb Birmingham 2020 to encourage and simplify the process of recycling used kitchens.
Founder & CEO of The Used Kitchen Company Looeeze Grossman commented on the partnership: “To be asked for the second year running to be kbb Birmingham’s sustainability partner is extremely exciting.
“We’re so passionate about the industry rising to the sustainable challenge and what better way than to recycle and re-home the outstanding displays from kbb2022.
“These, often one-off, designs are a huge testament to the brands and manufactures that display at the show, anyone would be privileged to have one in their home yet sadly, for many years, so many just went to landfill after a hectic week of exhibiting.
“To know these kitchens will have a new life in a new home thanks to The Used Kitchen Company’s partnership with kbb2022 is a real honour.
“We look forward to working with kbb2022 and together continue to create a more sustainable culture within the kitchen industry.”
Sales director at kbb Birmingham Jon Johnston added: “We are delighted to be working with The Used Kitchen Company again.
“Sustainability will continue to be a major focus at kbb Birmingham 2022 and our collaboration with TUKC highlights the different ways that exhibitors can ensure their stands are built with minimal social and environmental impact. We look forward to maximising this innovative partnership.”
