Ahead of its return in March 2024, biennial trade exhibition kbb Birmingham has announced the launch of its Innovation Awards, in partnership with Blum.
Now in its sixth year, the awards recognise new methods and ideas or products that demonstrate innovation with the winners announced at the show.
The 2024 categories include ‘Best Sustainable Design, ‘Judges Winner’ and ‘People’s Choice Winner’ chosen by visitors to the show.

Among the winners in 2022, the People’s Choice category in 2022 was presented to RørosHetta for its fire safety technology called Sense.
Entries should demonstrate the latest industry advances, launched since June 2022 and brands are encouraged to enter products, components and manufacturing techniques impacting the KBB market.
Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts, with the shortlisted entries displayed for duration of the exhibition, from March 3-6, with the winners announced at kthe bb Birmingham show.
kbb Birmingham is expected to feature 300 exhibitors across 26 different product categories with an audience of over 15,000 visitors over the four days from the retail and contract sector.
Event director of Kbb Birmingham Sam Fisher commented: “We’re delighted to welcome entries for what is set to be an even bigger and more exciting Innovation Awards.
“These awards give brands the opportunity to share the latest innovations with the kbb community and for the industry to recognise excellence in the market.
“We are looking forward to seeing this year’s entries and see what new innovations the industry has to offer two years on.”
All Innovation Award entries must be submitted by November 17, 2023.
