President and CEO of Kohler Co David Kohler officially opened the multi-million pound Kohler Mira National Distribution Centre in Worcester.
Having been developed by a dedicated team for over two years, the centre formed part of the business’ centenary year, and follows the opening of its Space 100 facility in Cheltenham.
According to the company, it is the most advanced Kohler distribution centre globally, allowing the brand to process orders three times faster, and link its manufacturing sites around the UK to result in one delivery.

The 150,000 sq ft building has the capacity for over 10,000 pallets and has been recognised with a Carbon Reduction Award by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association and received an accreditation from BREEAM Official for its sustainability performance.
To ensure associate wellbeing remains in focus, a dedicated relaxation area also ensures associates have a space to relax in throughout their working day.
Built on an 11.25-acre site, there is room for the centre to expand as the business, channels, and customer requirements’ evolve.

Founded in 1921, Mira is a UK manufacturer of mixer, electric, power and digital showers and is owned by American bathroom manufacturer Kohler Co.
