Sanitaryware manufacturer Lecico Bathrooms has been named exclusive UK distributor for Propelair, a low water and air-powered flush toilet.

It will assume responsibility for all sales, marketing, and operational functions for Propelair in the UK.

This adds to the company’s bathroom portfolio which includes the Design series, Atlas Trade and Atlas Pro.

According to Propelair, its WCs are the highest performers under BREEAM’s water efficiency guidelines and use on average 84% less water than standard toilets.

Engineered specifically for commercial, public, and heavy footfall premises, the Propelair system connects conveniently to existing plumbing systems

The technology, which can be retrofitted to existing drains, has been adopted by over 200 customers, and over 4,500 units are installed across a wide range of commercial buildings.

There has been a growing focus on sustainability and water use in the UK construction industry, evidenced by consultations with the UK government on water labelling and changes to Part G of the building regulations.

Lecico Bathrooms has reported it is looking forward to playing a lead role in addressing these challenges.
