In partnership with the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (Kbsa), Quooker has agreed a five-year support package for independent KBB retailers across the UK.
One year on from their initial partnership, Quooker joins the network of corporate sponsors who have the aim of driving consumers into specialist independent showrooms.
According to Quooker and the Kbsa over 3,000 independent UK kitchen retailers supply 15% of all kitchens sold but account for 40% of total sector revenue.

The Kbsa has a strengthened ambition to become the authoritative and political voice for the independent sector, as well as the centre for education and training.
Quooker’s six-figure investment and five-year support plan will help support the Kbsa and expand its retail membership.
Commenting on the partnership, Quooker MD Stephen Johnson said: ‘Having grown up in the KBB industry and as a longstanding supporter of the independent kitchen retail sector, I passionately believe there is a communal responsibility of support wherever possible.
“At Quooker, we are therefore committed to helping the industry with our resources and expertise.
“We look forward to partnering closely with the Kbsa and its board to strengthen this vital trade association.
“Working together to build a war chest to support the independent dealer network, it is my hope that we can encourage people to invest in independent showrooms across the country.’
National chair of the Kbsa Richard Hibbert commented: “This major package, which will benefit not only KBSA members but a global audience of independent retailers, will reach a massive audience and provide a huge boost to business.
“We are immensely grateful to Quooker for their continued support and hope that others will join them in coming forward.”
The Kbsa is the UK’s only association for independent kitchen and bathroom retailers and was founded in 1978 to recognise quality, professionalism and service.
Quooker has also pledged support of the BiKBBI apprenticeship initiative, to help solve the skills gaps and encourage young people to join the KBB industry.
