“Our research shows that eco-credentials are a growing concern to the modern homeowner and our pledge for sustainable kitchen manufacture in 2020 is just one way we can reduce our carbon footprint and answer the growth for ethical consumerism.”
In 2021, it is also expected Rotpunkt will have a company-wide conversion to green electricity.
At it recent annual open-house in Germany, the company revealed a collection of environmentally-friendly kitchen furniture with zero carbon footprint.
These kitchens are set to hit the UK in January 2020.
Matt Phillips said: “As a premium kitchen manufacturer, we recognise our influence and ability to impact market change, which is why the production of sustainable furniture solutions has become an integral part of our past and future brand and business methodology.
“We want to bring this same level of stimulus to our UK retail network, so they can help their customers make better choices and become part of Rotpunkt’s ‘climate action solution’.”
