International furniture fair Salone del Mobile.Milano returned to the Fiera Milano fairground as a full-scale live event, attracting more than 260,000 visitors.
The show was cancelled in 2020 and held in a scaled-down version called Supersalone in 2021, its 60th edition was also rescheduled from April to June because of COVID safety concerns.
It meant EuroCucina, FTK – Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition haven’t been held since 2018 as a live event.

The 60th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano saw EuroCucina, FTK – Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition and lighting event Euroluce, all held together for the first time.
Official figures reported over 262,608 people attended the event, over the six days, with visitors from 173 countries to see 2,175 brands, with 27% of them coming from abroad.
Commenting on the show, President of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Maria Porro said: “We close this 60th edition of the Salone de Mobile.milano with great satisfaction and profound emotion for having achieved, and exceeded, the goals we had set ourselves.
“The attendance of visitors is an outstanding result, which we have worked so hard to attain.
“This edition was truly of the highest quality, international and in the service of the design community.”
She concluded: “This result confirms the state of health, the value context and the quality of the Salone del Mobile and it shows how teamwork across a whole sector and its creative and productive fabric can produce excellence, achieving positioned results even in the most complex moments internationally.”
