To mark a year containing two important anniversaries for the company – its 70th anniversary and the first birthday of its flagship London store – Italian appliance brand Smeg has announced a limited edition collaboration with Disney.
Following on from previous similar partnerships, like Dolce & Gabbana and MG, Smeg’s FAB28 fridge is adorned by an original drawing of Disney’s most iconic character, Mickey Mouse, who celebrates his 90th anniversary this year.
There will only be a total of 90 fridges available worldwide, one for each year since Mickey’s debut back in 1928, and each fridge is decorated with a limited edition silver plaque signifying its unique number.

The interior benefits from adjustable glass shelves, chrome shelving supports, metal wine racks, LED strip lights, an ice compartment and a Life Plus drawer, which keeps fruit and veg fresher for longer.
Each FAB28 fridge provides a gross capacity of 281L and offers an A+++ energy rating. In addition, Smeg recently upgraded all of its FAB fridges to include a metal back.
Smeg recently announced Tim Taylor as its new regional sales manager.
