Featuring live and operational appliances, the showroom includes the latest SmegConnect Wi-Fi operated appliances spanning ovens, through to wine coolers.
These are joined by range cookers, specialist appliances such as blast chillers and vacuum drawers, through to sinks and taps including its latest 50s inspired retro taps to complement its refrigeration.
In addition, the HQ boasts a conference facility, which seats up to 60 people, as well as a ‘living kitchen’ training school.
Smeg provides hands-on ‘Inspire’ training courses, designed for independent retailers, which have been created to equip staff with knowledge to sell and up sell its products.
Head of marketing at Smeg UK John Davies commented: “The reaction [to the showroom] has been fantastic and generally the feedback has been retailers felt the experience has been interactive.
“It enables us to bring people into the space, to understand the products and go away with confidence and a smile on their face.”
Founded in 1948 in Italian, Smeg is run by the third generation of the Bertazzoni family.
