He joined Summerbridge prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Commenting on his appointment, Stevens said: “It has been an interesting time to run a production facility.
“Summerbridge has been producing kitchen and bedroom doors and cabinets for many years and we have recently introduced a range of rigid bathroom cabinets too.
“A sizeable proportion of our business, due to our location, is for the mobile home and leisure industry which is currently busy as the sales of UK lodges, mobile homes and caravans flourish. It’s been a good boost for our business during the temporary retail shut down.
“Now our retail business is coming back and we hope it will continue to grow as businesses look for local supply from a UK manufacturer.
“It’s great to be heading up this sizeable facility, Summerbridge has great potential for growth.”
Founded in 1992, Summerbridge manufactures MDF and MFC doors and cabinets for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
It sells products to specialist retailers via distribution, the leisure industry and to property developers for hotels and student accomodation.
