Luxury bathroom specialist Thomas Crapper has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for high-end Italian bathroom brand Sbordoni in the UK.
The Sbordoni brand includes double console basins, washstands, high and low-level toilet seats in a classical style, which complements the existing Thomas Crapper portfolio.
Managing director Paul Dwyer said: “Our distribution agreement with Sbordoni represents a superb opportunity for Thomas Crapper and our retail partners.

“The Sbordoni brand has been in the UK for over 25 years and is well-known in the architect and designer community, although it’s probably fair to say that recently it hasn’t had the exposure in independent showrooms that it deserves.”
Founded by Alessandro Sbordoni, the company started manufacturing artistic pottery in 1910 and founded a 90,000sqm sanitaryware factory in South Central Italy in 1928.
In 1980, Sbordoni became a limited company and began to export its bathroom collections globally.
Now the company offers four collections of sanitaryware, sanitary fittings and bathroom accessories, which are handmade in its production sites.
Paul Dwyer continued: “We intend to support the independent retail network in the same way we currently do with Thomas Crapper; giving differential buying terms and an area of exclusivity to dealers who invest in displays.
“Although we now have a good network of Thomas Crapper retail partners, we have areas available for new retailers who want to sell high-quality products with excellent levels of customer service.
“We know the products will prove popular with consumers and our retail partners can sell them with confidence knowing the products are manufactured to the same high-quality standards as Thomas Crapper’s existing products.”
Thomas Crapper is part of the Hartford Holdings Group, which also includes Trojan Plastics and Mantaleda.
