Kitchen supplier TKC has invested £1million in upgrading and extending its in-house spray painting facility at its HQ in Denton Manchester, which will be will fully operational from March 1.
The new line will double the company’s capacity to supply paint to order doors, while maintaining the lead time of 10-15 days.
A 3,000 sq ft building adjacent to TKC’s existing spray facility will house a semi-automated paint line to provide a smooth matt painted finish, which wil be offered alongside its existing textured finish.

The paint to order service is available on the Lucente, Vivo, Cartmel, Cambridge, Newmarket, Windsor and Ascot door ranges with no minimum order quantity.
Recognising the popularity of painted kitchens, the investment gives TKC greater flexibility in offering a wider colour palette across its door ranges.
TKC’s colour palette has been extended to 28 in 2022 with Amazon Green, Fir Green, Sapphire Blue, Dusky Pink and Anthracite.
It all forms part of the company’s ongoing operational improvements, with investments in facilities, fleet people and increased stock levels of a record £8million to mitigate industry-wide supply chain challenges.
CEO at TKC Roy Saunders commented: “We’re committed to continually improving our operation and service proposition to our customer base and are delighted to make this significant investment in our inhouse spray facility.
“TKC as a business is growing rapidly, and our new facility will increase our capacity, maintain our market leading supply times, while still allowing us to offer our colour match service.”
