He most recently held the position of general manager for global commercial products, kitchens, and bath group.
Prior to this, Baines spent five years as President of Robern in the USA and five years as new product development director for Kohler Mira/Kohler K&B UK.
Speaking of his appointment, Andy Baines commented: “I am an innovator and designer at heart. I have always been passionate about helping create things that enhance peoples’ lives.
“Joining Vado, who share the same values and at a pivotal point in the brands history, gives me and the team a great opportunity to drive the business forward to do incredible things.”
He continued: “I believe leadership is an honour, not a status. It is my pleasure to provide a safe and fair space for people to be themselves, flex their imaginations and innovate in ways they never thought possible.
“ I am looking forward to being part of the next chapter of Vado’s exciting history delivering products that improve the way people experience bathrooms every day.”
Vado has recently collaborated with Conran and Partners on its Arrondi brassware range for residential and hospitality sectors.
