Online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has announced its financial results for 2018, growing 12% pro-rata from 2017 to achieve a record turnover of £118m.
Victorian Plumbing has also reported profits of £3.5million for 2018, which it states are also the best to date.
This is despite paying £1.75million to competitor Victoria Plum, a settlement fee from a court case over competitive bidding on Google Adwords.

Victoria Plumbing successfully counter-claimed and had permission to take the case to The Court of Appeal but chose to settle.
According to the company, current projections are that Victorian Plumbing is on course for a turnover of £145million for the year ending September 30, 2019, with a projected growth of 22.8%.
According to the company, television remained “the most important medium for brand awareness”.
Victorian Plumbing adverts generated over 400million brand impressions via TV and the retail business cites taking a data-driven approach as key to its success, tracking investment.
In addition, to grow its brand awareness, Victorian Plumbing collaborated with fashion designer Julien Macdonald on a collection.
It also launched a creative campaign with Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen and partnered with Fox Studios for the release of Deadpool “.
Managing director of Victorian Plumbing Mark Radcliffe said: “Continued growth for the business is our main priority.
“The online bathroom market is still relatively young and the opportunities increase every year with more and more people turning to the internet for better value and service.
“To support our growth, we’ve made a considerable investment in our infrastructure and brand.
“My goal is to become number one for profitability, service and turnover.
“Being top in all three areas has always been a target and priority for me.
“We have held these impressive position for several years now and the current figures shows that we’re on target to become the largest and most profitable bathroom retailer in the UK.”
Victorian Plumbing has also announced plans to grow globally.
