Opening sixth showroom and second trade depot
Independent bathroom and tile retailer, Better Bathrooms is set to open its largest distribution to date, at Didcot, to handle business in the South, adding to its trade counter in Leigh, Lancashire.
The 166,000sqft warehouse, which opens in November, will hold £100,000 of stock, offering same day collections and delivery slots for trade customers.
It will see the creation of 80 jobs, which goes towards the company’s target of adding 200 additional staff to the business within the next three years.

The depot opening will follow on from the opening of a 19,772sq ft showroom in York, on October 27, which will be the company’s first outlet in Yorkshire.
It will be the sixth showroom for Better Bathrooms, which has stores in Wigan, Warrington, Manchester, Leicester and Slough, its first showroom in the South, which opened earlier this year.
In 2007, Better Bathrooms had an annual turnover at just over £1million in the last financial year, the turnover was £40million.The company aims to double its growth over the next three to five years.
