The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has appointed Jon Thelwell to the Advisory Board, with responsibility to develop the organisation’s commercial strategy.
He has over 20 years’ experience working with manufacturers and retailers of KBB products.
His career spans the roles of showroom director at Jewson, managing director at Crestwood, head of marketing and development at Moores Furniture Group and sales director at Knauf.

Commenting on the appointment, BiKBBI CEO Damian Walters said: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jon Thelwell to the BiKBBI Advisory Board.
“Jon has vast experience and a great understanding of the KBB sector at a senior level, which brings a new dimension to our institute, having led strategic initiatives in the sector over the last 20 years.

The BiKBBI also confirmed that it plans to make three further appointments to the board over the next few week.”
It recently launched BiKBBI Protected, an online service that links consumers with installers, creating an agreeement with all parties financially protected.
