KBB CAD software specialist ArtiCAD has announced the launch of a Virtual Meetings feature for its ArtiVR virtual reality.

The function does what the name suggests, it allows designers to host a meeting, virtually, with their client within the ArtiVR design.

Retailer and clients can meet, for example, in the new kitchen design where the designer can take the customer on a tour of the room.

They can also collaborate and optimise the design, in real time within the design, as Virtual Meetings is enabled for camera and microphone.

And as with ArtiVR, there is no need for any additional hardware as all the rendering and optimisation is handled in the Cloud.

ArtiVR, with the new Virtual Meetings feature, is available on a monthly subscription basis from ArtiCAD.

It can be used either with and without a headset, depending on whether clients wish to have an immersive experience.
