Italian extraction manufacturer Falmec has introduced the Spazio hood, which the company has described as a “structured project”.
After its launch at Eurocucina FTK in 2018, Spazio is now available through the company’s UK subsidiary, which is responsible for sales and marketing.
Created by Francesco Lucchese, the island hood measures 1800mm and sits in a load-bearing frame made from stainless steel and available in a black finish.

In the lower part, there is also an equipped area that allows the organisation of kitchen utensils, a shelf for spices with a roll holder, and LED lighting that lights up the work surface.
In addition, Spazio allows provides electrical charging, smartphones and MP3 players, as well as a ‘tablet support’ for the quick consultation of favourite apps.
And completing the design, it is equipped with an area dedicated to the growing herbs thanks to a dedicated light kit and two trays.
Spazio boasts Circle.Tech system, patented by Falmec, which is a suction and filtering system developed horizontally.
It allows air to be expelled diffusely and to pass through a series of filters that wrap around the motor.
In addition, it also includes Carbon.Zeo filtering technology, which is reportedly twice as effective at absorbing organic compounds and water steam.
