Italian cooker hood manufacturer Falmec has introduced Light, designed as a centrepiece for use above kitchen islands.
The hood is enclosed by two smoked glass panels and two black satin aluminium profiles, which integrate with the LED strips, to offer illumination across the entire lower perimeter.
Light boasts Falmec’s new Multi-Air technology, using its experience and research into extraction, which provides a compact suction body and a slim-line aesthetic.

Multi-Air divides the suction power into multiple ultra-compact motors, usually distributed horizontally, for widespread extraction with reduced height.
The system also includes Carbon.Zeo filter technology, featuring zeolite and activate charcoal, to reduce odours and absorb steam.
Light follows on from the launch of the award-winning cooker hood Spazio, which is available from Falmec in a choice of 1800mm wide and now 1300mm wide versions.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
