Designed for compact or single person living, Montpellier has launched a wall-mountable dryer to optimise the use of space in the kitchen.

The compact, vented tumble dryer (MTD25P) measures 585mm high, 695mm wide and 415mm deep.

It can cater for a 2.5kg load, boasts two heat settings, with a choice of drying programmes (Hot, Cool, Anti-Wrinkle, Air-dry).

The MTD25P can be sited on a worksurface, in a ventilated corner or even mounted on to a kitchen wall and is operated by controls at the base of the appliance.

In addition, the C energy-rated appliance has two handles integrated into each side of the appliance to ease transfer from worktop to floor, or on and off the wall.

Coming complete with a wall-mounting fixing kit and vent hose, the MTD25P extends Montpellier’s existing drying appliances which include an integrated tumber dryer and a freestanding condenser tumble dryer.

Montpellier appliances span washing machines, dishwashers, refrigeration and a choice of built-in or freestanding cooking appliances, including range cookers.

These are complemented by Montpellier-branded splashbacks and kitchen taps.

All appliances come with a two-year guarantee as standard, backed by the brand’s nationwide service network.

However, its built-in refrigeration models are supported by a five-year guarantee.

Originally created as a collection of own-brand appliances from Tewkesbury-based distributor D.A.D, in 2012, it split from the company two years ago and Montpellier set up as a stand-alone name.
