Bath manufacturer BC Designs has increased its stock levels by 50% to help support its retailers.
The stock levels, which have been raised across the company’s whole portfolio since February, are so retailers can access products quickly as the sector returns to business following lockdown.
Managing director at BC Designs Darren Allison commented: “The sector is facing one of its toughest trading periods to date and we are continually assessing how, as a company, we can support our network of retailers.

“What we do know is that retailers can only thrive and get back on to their feet if they are able to access stock in order to fulfil customers’ orders and it is why, as far back as February, we took the decision to significantly increase our stock levels.
“We’re also examining how we can further support retailers by reducing lead times.”
BC Designs resumed full operation of its business, in August, bringing back its entire workforce from furlough.
