German enamelled steel bath and shower tray manufacturer Bette has now introduced a matt black finish for its freestanding tubs.
Designed to complement the use of darker tones in the bathroom, the matt black colour called Ebony is available on 18 freestanding baths.
These include models from the BetteLux, BetteStarlet and BetteArt collections, some of which are designed for smaller bathrooms, meaning black can also be used in small spaces.

Pictured is the BetteStarlet Oval Silhouette, which is available in five sizes from 1500 x 800mm to 1950 x 950mm.
Like all Bette baths, it is made from glazed titanium-steel, comes with a 30 year warranty and is 100% recyclable.
According to Bette, glazed titanium-steel is durable and ‘easy to clean’ because the surface makes it difficult for dirt and bacteria to adhere to and since the surface is UV-resistant, it won’t discolour.

Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
