German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has launched smart-ready LED lighting which is integrated across its furniture and shelving, as standard.
It enables designers to optimise lighting of the kitchen space, by deciding on options at the same time as choosing the furniture.
There is the choice of 11 options from pendants and strip lighting through to spotlights, and all lighting fixtures and fittings are available in a black finish.

Designers can illuminate larders, open shelving, vitrines, display areas and island units, as part of one complete package.
The smart-ready lighting can be controlled remotely, using a digital assistant on a tablet or smartphone, or as part of a wired-in smart home system which adapts to lifestyle patterns and preferences.
Rotpunkt is rolling out expansion plans in 2021, with a three-year plan to boost manufacturing and training capabilities at its headquarters in Bünde, East Saxony.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
