UK manufacturer of doors and cabinets for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms Summerbridge has celebrated the long service of two of its employees.
Sheridan Say (pictured) and Christopher Padgett have both worked for the company for over 25 years.
Product engineer Say first joined the company 25 years ago as a vacuum press operative, while Padgett, now a dispatch operative, joined Summerbridge 26 years ago as a hand router operative.

As a thank you for their continued loyalty and hard work, they were presented with a long service award with Say gifted aviation lessons, while Padgett was presented Amazon vouchers.
Sheridan Say said of the award: “I was so surprised and overwhelmed when I won the award! I absolutely love my role at Summerbridge – the team are absolutely wonderful, and there’s such a relaxed atmosphere.
“We have a great product, and there’s a real opportunity for people to make their mark and contribute to driving the growth of the company, which is really rewarding.”
Christopher Padgett added: “It was great to receive a long service award in recognition of my time with Summerbridge – it’s wonderful to feel appreciated, and the award came as such as surprise! I felt really proud, as I take great pride in my job.
“Summerbridge is a great place to work, we have such a friendly team and I’ve made great friends here who I’ve known for a very long time.”
Operations manager at Summerbridge Marcin Wegerski said: “We were delighted to award Sheridan and Christopher with their long service awards.
“They have played an integral role in the company over the last 25 years, and we wanted to give recognition of their hard work and contributions to the company.
“All that’s left to say is a big thank you again to them both!”
Founded in East Yorkshire in 1992, Summerbridge has an 80,000sqft factory, employs over 100 people and was acquired by Kartell in 2022.
