Appliance group Haier Europe has appointed Francesco Di Valentin as the company’s chief business officer, succeeds chief commercial officer Jean Pascal Rey.
Rey will leave Haier Europe to continue his career outside of the Haier Group, effective from April 30.
Francesco Di Valentin brings more than 25 years of international experience of industry sales and marketing expertise to the role.

He will join Haier Europe’s Senior Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring the “zero-distance” mindset, with markets and customers, permeates all business activities.
Reporting directly to CEO Neil Tunstall and working with members of the Senior Leadership Team, Di Valentin will drive revenues, customer satisfaction and create a “supplier of choice” culture .
Francesco Di Valentin commented on his new role: “I am delighted to have been appointed to lead this new role at Haier Europe.
