Kbsa swells retail and corporate membership

Trade association for independent KBB retailers, the Kbsa has recently added six businesses to its membership.

KBBG joins with Kbsa in “perfect fit”

The new members include four retailers and two corporate businesses.

Buying group Der Kreis UK, which has recently announced a partnership with the Kbsa and wine cooling brand Dunavox GB have joined as corporate members.

The Der Kreis partnership provides Kbsa members with free lifetime KBBG membership, and the Kbsa benefits from a bonus payment on all sales that KBSA members generate.

The retail members include Gorringe Kitchens & Bathrooms, Duffield Kitchens, Creating Spaces Group Ltd and Wood & Wire.

Based in Worthing, Gorringe Kitchens & Bathrooms is a family business and is founded by Wesley Gorringe who was formerly an installer.

Duffield Kitchens has a showroom located in Duffield, East Midlands and serves Derby and Nottingham.

Offering ktichens, bathrooms, bedrooms and outdoor kitchens, Creating Spaces Group is based in Copley and has recently opened a satellite showroom in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, with a plan for expansion in coming weeks.

Designers and cabinet makers, Wood & Wire create bespoke kitchens and furniture at its workshop, which are then displayed in the showroom at Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire.

Employing a 14-strong team, owners Jim Leach and Tim Shillitoe specialise in plywood kitchens, plywood furniture and Valchromat kitchens.

Retail and corporate membership director Malcolm Scott said: “It has been a year of positive growth so far for the Kbsa, with a steady rise in enquiries and membership.

“I am delighted to welcome both corporate and retailer members this month, both are essential, supporting each other, driving forward our ambitious plans for the Kbsa.”
