Designed to be fully compliant with UK and EU building and IEE regulations, it complies with Parts B, L, C and E regulations.

According to the company, the Speaker Hood also reduces sound leakage by up to -9dB, with the triple-layer construction limiting backward sound escape.

It means it can be used for locations that need sound suppression between floors – for example a children’s room above a kitchen.

Created to fit 6.5” and 8” ceiling speakers, the Speaker Hood can be installed from above or below the ceiling, and it’s compatible with suspended or plasterboard ceilings.
