Plumbing specialist Fluidmaster UK organised a 50-mile charity bike ride to raise money for the Logansaurus Trust.

Fluidmaster organises 50-mile charity ride

Named after 10-year old Logan Henderson who passed away from a sudden, aggressive brain tumour, the charity was established by his mum Lauren Henderson as a safe space for grieving families.

Logansaurus Trust also offers support and understanding to those affected by similar situations.

The group of cyclists, led by sales manager Geoff Young, pedalled a 50-mile route from Marlbrook Primary School in Hereford to Abergavenny and back.

Geoff Young was joined by Fluidmaster employees  Andrew ‘Buddy’ Holley, Laura Jenkins, Matt Henderson, Quinton Baker and Jordan Whitrow.

Commenting on the decision to organise a cycle ride, Geoff Young said: “Lauren is making it her mission to help families who find themselves going through the same pain that she and her husband did and to build on the legacy that her son Logan left.

“We wanted to show her support by raising money for the Logansaurus Trust’.

The bike ride was part of a wider fundraising event, the Logansaurus Picnic, which saw the local community come together to honour Logan Henderson.

Lauren Henderson said: “Fluidmaster has always been such a supportive and empathetic company which Matt and I have so much appreciation for.

“During our darkest time Fluidmaster tried so hard to make it easier for us and now with the support for the event, we have no words to express our gratitude.

“The Logansaurus Picnic first and foremost had to be a happy event filled with life and happiness which Logan projected onto others.

“I believe we did just that and with the help of Fluidmaster we made it even bigger.”
