In line with its 35^th anniversary year, kitchen and bedroom supplier TKC has acquired a second site to facilitate the next stage of the company’s growth.

According to TKC, the company has doubled in size and it plans to do the same over the next five years.

Located near its Denton HQ, the new site offers an additional 65,000sqft, with the premises being custom fitted to meet TKC’s requirements.

It will offer around 10,000 additional pallet spaces, which TKC reports will allow the company to enhance its product portfolio, paint to order capacity and increase its manufacturing and assembling capabilities.

TKC has recently invested in routering machines and in-house spray facility, alongside dust extraction.

The new site will also house a 5,000sqft customer experience centre, to showcase the company’s breadth and depth of product, including dedicated paint to order and true handleless zones.

On the upper floor of the building will be a dedicated training areas and product development suite, to reflect TKC’s proposition and inspire customers.

 CEO at TKC Roy Saunders commented:  “TKC was established in 1989 and has since become a pillar of the KBB industry. Over the last 5 years, we’ve doubled the size of the business and it’s our intention to repeat that in the next 5 years.

“Securing our new site is a key strategic step in that journey, which will allow us to significantly enhance our product range and to showcase it to our customers.

“TKC product is renowned for it’s quality and value and we’re looking forward to inspiring our customers when they visit us and to enhance an operational model that will help us deliver a further £40m of sales.

It is anticipated the second site will go live in November 2024, with the customer experience centre to follow.
