The deadline for the new KBB Retail Hall of Fame closes soon, so act fast, KBN – Kitchens & Bathrooms News has urged.

The new KBB Retail Hall of Fame honours and recognises retailers who have made significant contributions to the industry.

For example, it could be individuals who have demonstrated longevity in the market, those who have a vision to set new standards, or retailers who have improved the reputation of the KBB industry at a national or local level.

KBN is seeking nominations, from across the industry, for kitchen and bathroom retailers who should be inducted into the KBB Retail Hall of Fame for in perpetuity.

Editor Philippa Turrell said she has been “thrilled” with the responses, so far, to the concept which is already in arts, music, business, sports and now has been introduced into the KBB sector.

However, she urged all KBB professionals – manufacturers, distributors, agents and PRs – to make their nomination for kitchen and bathroom retail inductees before the deadline of November 4, 2024.

An expert selection panel will choose six inductees for 2025, from the nominations, for the inaugural KBB Retail Hall of Fame.

It will act as a permanent roll of honour and forms an elite club of ambassadors.

“We want the KBB Retail Hall of Fame to truly represent the best of the best in the industry”, exclaimed Philippa Turrell “and for that, we are aiming for the highest level of participation.”

She added: “While KBN will be a custodian of the hall of fame, it will be curated by the industry and belong to the industry.”

The first inductee will be featured in the January 2025 issue of KBN, online and promoted through the brand’s social media channels.
