German kitchen manufacturers opened the doors to their hausmesses, revealing the latest furniture trends for 2025, under the umbrella brand of Kuchenmeile.
German kitchen manufacturers opened the doors to their hausmesses revealing the latest furniture trends for 2025, under the umbrella brand of Kuchenmeile.
The event saw 25 furniture manufacturers, located along the A30, open their doors to kitchen specialists, architects and contractors.
Regional sales manager of MHK Jon Earl offered his insights on the trade shows of the Kuchenmeile: “Given the emphasis on minimalism, it is often what can be found on the inside that counts when it comes to German Kitchens.

“For me this year, a big step forward was the introduction of a grey carcass from one of the major manufacturers.
“For designers and customers who care about detail, this is a good step in allowing more budgets to break away from the standard white interior.
“Equally significant was the introduction of a new patented draw box from Hettich, which offers changeable covers and top caps with either metallic accents or an oak effect to the sides.”
He pointed to German manufacturers embracing natural textures and patterns:“Pronorm showcased a reed-inspired door that appeared to be unique in that its pattern is more organic in look and feel with unevenly spaced reeding that reflects the real thing.”
We have compiled a curated edit of kitchen brands and trend direction for kitchens, which this year saw a focus on woods, texture and statement colour.
ROTPUNKT
Welcoming over 1,000 visitors to its hausmesse, Rotpunkt revealed its storage solutions for the kitchen, living room, home office, and dressing room, reinforcing its “Welcome Home” concept at the start of the year.
It broadened into neighbouring spaces of the home, blending its kitchen with utility, hallway, living room, home bar, office, bedroom and dressing room areas.
Rotpunkt introduced new fronts from contemporary hardwood timbers through to modern frame options, and fluted designs in wood and glass.
In addition it introduced a series of new cabinet heights, including the Half Grid 84.5, adding to a variety of widths, extra deep units and exclusive XTend collection with H2470mm full height one-piece doors and H910mm cabinets and island unit.
It also introduced new colours with a 27-strong palette of Fenix doors from monochromatic and earthy shades through to muted tones and bold pops of colour.
SACHSENKUCHEN
At its hausemesse (home show), Sachsenküchen unveiled metallic, stone and embossed styles for its 2025 collection.
Taking centre stage, the manufacturer unveiled Kara, showcasing Dekton with book-matched veining on cabinetry, with complementary splashbacks, and in a choice of six decors.
The design was completed by a storage wall in the new Flavia range, which features a continuous veneer wood grain, with new glass ‘wood design’ wall units.
In addition, Sachsenküchen reported the new AccuraBox precision drawer system will now be available as standard across every range, with six customisable options including 13mm side profiles in wood or glass, as well as integrated lighting options.
RWK & KUHLMANN
At its in-house show, RWK & Kuhlmann Küchen presented its first collection developed for Villeroy & Boch under exclusive license.
The kitchen designs pick up on classic motives and materials from the history of Villeroy & Boch, which goes back more than 275 years, including ceramic surfaces and interpretations of the “Mettlacher Platte” (Mettlach tile).
The Villeroy & Boch kitchens will be available from selected specialist dealers from December 2024.
POGGENPOHL
Under the theme Beauphoria, the guiding principle of Poggenpohl at its hausmesse was to break away from convention.
Alongside the existing principles of Poggenpohl kitchens, such as optimal planning and blending into the existing architecture, the stylistic features are used with conscious restraint to strike an emotional chord.
This was demonstrated by new fronts – Diamond and Wing – which interpreted wood in a progressive way, resulting in a graphic, elegant and artistic appearance.
Diamond was inspired by classic country house wall panels and the inlay-like use of wood as a material to create a modern reinterpretation that celebrates the handcrafted character and the associated quality of workmanship.
SCHULLER
Under the theme “Feel at home”, Schüller considered the home as a whole at its hausmesse, with six new colours, front and worktop textures, handleless SingleX and more utility room options.
In terms of fronts, the new collection features grooved front Lineo in natural oak (pictured combined with new colour Sunshine Yellow) and Cognac Brown Oak Moderna range.
Its sustainable Matera range features three additional neutral solid colours, while Matera Colour front range had been rounded off with Cashmere Brown and Deep Blue Matt.
While Ecru Matt Polymer Glass and Pebble Grey was added to Nova, Uni Gloss and Gala ranges.
Completing the looks were worktops which complement selective frontals for a homogenous look.
Schuller also introduced SingleX system with a single grip ledge profile, for a minimalist appearance and more storage, and extended its Utility range with raised washing machine units, customisable tall end units for ironing boards and base unit with two laundry bins.
NEXT 125
Premium brand from Schüller Möbelwerk next125 featured new surfaces – from mirrored bronze glass and natural linoleum, through to ceramic, reeded glass and Onyx black stained oak veneer – as well as statement and accent colours.
Next125 collaborated with architect Francis Kéré on Fireplace, which features bronze-coloured mirror glass and designed to highlight the company’s commitment to sustainability, environment and nature.
In addition, Next125 saw the introduction of Aubergine and Ultramarine as statement colours and introduction of Pebble Grey as a carcase finish.
Adding to the cabinetry, the next125 launches included round adjoining tables, worktop storage racks, and accessories such as chopping boards.
Pictured is the next125 kitchen in Ultramarine Matt Velvet with new floor-level fronts, to emphasise the cubic look of the island, reeded glass fronted wall units and adjoining table.

Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).

Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
