Specialist bathroom and kitchen surface manufacturer Rearo has appointed James Barrett-Bunnage as its new marketing manager.

Barrett-Bunnage brings a wealth of experience to the Glasgow company which provides HPL laminate panels and commercial washrooms.

His background encompasses marketing, digital marketing, and brand positioning, including leadership roles at Schuh, Tradeprint, and Finning.

There he oversaw projects, ranging from national retail rollouts, and e-commerce platform development, to the implementation of marketing technology for major construction projects, including HS2, plus he has worked as a consultant with various start-ups.

Barrett-Bunnage’s appointment will see him focusing on a multi-faceted approach to marketing, differentiating Rearo’s communication strategies between domestic and commercial markets.

He will be instrumental in implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to significantly expand Rearo’s commercial business.

Around 80% of Rearo’s revenue currently stems from retail sales, with the remaining 20% derived from the commercial sector.

The company aims to shift this balance, doubling its commercial sales revenues by June 2025, while simultaneously achieving overall sales growth.
