Independent distributor of timber, panels and decors, James Latham has introduced Valchromat White Pearl full-colour MDF.
Following seven years of R&D by Valchromat, it has introduced full-colour MDF in a white hue for interior cladding through to furniture manufacture.
White Pearl is available in a variety of thicknesses, from 8mm to 30mm, and dimensions starting at 2440mm x 1220mm.

It is the latest addition to Valchromat’s 12-Colour Palette range and has been designed to pair with other shades in the collection or contrast with timber and stone to burnished metals and tempered glass.
According to the company, its relative light-reflecting nature means it can take advantage of dynamic lighting, delivering a minimalist, spare backdrop that throws other features into relief.
It’s also able to harness coloured lighting arrangements to create richer shades on the surface.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, White Pearl has been engineered for strength and moisture-resistance.
According to James Latham it is machine, tool friendly, non-toxic, and upon request, can be supplied as a flame-retardant option.
Similar to Valchromat’s other panels, it’s also produced from sustainably sourced pine sawdust and waste in a low-carbon environment.
James Latham has 12 depots nationwide and also distributes decorative surface brand Cleaf.
