An independent judging panel, which included Pip Rich, Georgina Blaskey and Mo Hussen chose the inaugural winners.
The winners of each category were:
- Bathroom Design of the Year – Andrew Pope, Spaces by Design
- Kitchen Design of the Year – Geri O’Toole, Geri Designs
- Showroom of the Year – Rouse Tile Studio
- Creative Design of the Year – Andrew Dawson, North Arch Bathrooms
- One to Watch – Sophie Harrold, Simply Bathrooms
Georgina Blaskey, senior homes & interiors editor at SheerLuxe and one of the judges, commented: “The Bathroom of the Year category was the most hotly contested and we had some fabulous entries.
“The winning design by Andrew had been cleverly reimagined – the curved walls are to die for – and it brings the wow factor to a fairly small space.
“The use of different tiles and patterns, all of which work together without competing, is very clever.”
Marketing director at Ca’ Pietra Grazzie Wilson added: “We had a fantastic response to our first Retail Design Awards, with entries in the hundreds.
“We saw some fantastic projects which showcased the use of our tiles to their full potential, along with the very best in creative design.
“The judging panel were blown away by the quality and had an exceptionally hard time picking the winner as the standards were that high.
“We are already planning next year’s awards and to build on the success of 2024.”
