Schmidt unveils furniture designs at global convention in Monaco

Kitchen and home furniture manufacturer Schmidt held its Euroforum global convention, for showroom owners and designers, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Kitchen and home furniture manufacturer Schmidt held its Euroforum global convention, for showroom owners and designers, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

The event showcased its latest kitchens and home design interiors including new colours, product features and sustainability credentials to an audience of over 3,000 showroom owners and designers.

Alongside home furniture in peach tones, it introduced round and curved units for flowing designs, face frames on cupboard doors and integrated lighting for cabinetry and splashback accents.

In addition, Schmidt introduced new layouts for pantries, laundry rooms, walk-in wardrobes and open shelving, alongside secrete designs such as “disappearing” wine stations and hidden doors.

In addition, Schmidt continued its collaboration with Christian Lacroix Maison, introducing Iris des Marais to the Print range, one of 18 designs, and unveiled a wood collection.

Completing its forum and following the B Corp Certification of its parent company Schmidt Group, Schmidt reaffirmed its sustainability commitments, unveiling products crafted with recycled materials and PEFC-certified wood, with its Origin collection featuring a solvent-free, water-based lacquer.

Schmidt reported “record” sales in the UK, last year, with double digit gains in trade and retail sectors.
