Family-run retailer Rubberduck Bathrooms has expanded its warehousing by 6,000sqft, bringing its capacity to 18,000sqft.

Family-run retailer Rubberduck Bathrooms has expanded its warehousing by 6,000sqft, bringing its capacity to 18,000sqft.

According to the North East-based company, it will enable the company to better serve its local and national customers, as well as support its future growth plans.

“At Rubberduck Bathrooms, we’re always looking for opportunities to progress and grow the business,” said a company spokesperson.

“When the chance arose to acquire the warehouse right next door, it was too good an opportunity to pass up.”

The additional space will allow Rubberduck Bathrooms to stock a wider range of bathroom products and new product lines, including tiles for in-store and online sales.

“Branching into tiles is an exciting new chapter for us,” the spokesperson noted.

“With the extra space, we can offer an extensive selection that complements our existing bathroom products, giving customers more choices for their renovation projects.”

In addition, according to the company, the new warehousing will provide a more efficient service for installers.

“Speed and reliability are crucial in this industry, especially for local tradespeople,” the spokesperson added.

“This new facility allows us to meet their needs more effectively and build stronger relationships within the community.”
