Hotpoint factory contents up for auction

The Station Road facility in Yate, Bristol, has a century of industrial heritage, having been established during World War I as an aircraft manufacturing and repair plant for Parnell.

Through the decades, it has evolved, ultimately becoming a tumble dryer factory for Hotpoint UK until its closure at the end of 2024.

The online auction includes a range of equipment  through NCM Auctions, including metalworking lathes and milling machines, precision measuring equipment, foil shrink wrapping lines, high-speed labellers and commercial catering equipment.

Amy Rutherford, partnership lead at NCM, commented: “This auction from Hotpoint UK, part of Beko Group, reinforces our expertise in repurposing industrial equipment from large manufacturing sites and factories.

“Our proven approach and commitment to sustainability ensures that these surplus manufacturing assets are reintegrated into the circular economy and diverted from landfill.

“Given the Yate facility’s substantial scale, this catalogue offers an extensive range of manufacturing equipment and related assets that can be used across many different industries and manufacturing processes.

“I’d encourage any interested bidders to register for the auction and arrange a viewing with our team.”

The Yate factory auction is live now, and bidding ends at 11am on March 5, 2025.

Private treaty offers are also being considered. Interested parties or those wishing to arrange viewings can contact NCM on 01302 898260 or info@ncmauctions.co.uk for more information.
