Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has announced keynote speakers for its Connect Conference 2025, which takes place in Birmingham on September 16-17.
Tech entrepreneur and CEO of residential architectural practice Resi.co.uk Alex Depledge (pictured), and deputy chief economist at the CBI Anna Leach, will be part of the program for the conference which is themed Connect the Dots and will be held at the Grand Hotel.

Prior to Resi, she founded Hassle.com, claimed to be Europe’s largest domestic cleaning marketplace, which she grew to an £8 million turnover before its sale for €32 million.
Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Depledge is a TV and radio commentator, serves on the board of Persimmon Homes, and has received numerous accolades including an MBE for services to the Sharing Economy in 2016.
In her keynote address, Depledge will tackle one of the most pressing challenges in today’s business world: cutting through complexity.
She will share practical insights on building workplaces that empower employees, foster strong leadership, and prioritise real impact.
Anna Leach has worked at the CHI since 2008 and heads the CBI’s Economic Intelligence team, which covers macroeconomic forecasting, analysis, business surveys, and consulting services through CBI Economics.
The BMA Connect Conference will be focused on fostering collaboration across manufacturers, supply chains, retailers, and merchants
Alongside keynote presentations, it will feature panel discussions exploring best practices and industry challenges, with the BMA’s Thirty-under-Thirty and Sustainability Award winners honoured at a gala dinner.
