British manufacturer Callerton hosted an immersive event at the Blum Experience Centre, centred around collaboration and understanding of kitchen design.
The two-part event brought together kitchen specialists, Callerton’s retailers and key partners, to officially launch Callerton’s ‘Right 1st Time’ initiative and exploration of an accessible kitchen at the Milton Keynes-based location.
Callerton answered a brief by Fitting solutions manufacturer Blum to create a multigenerational kitchen for the Experience Centre.

The Willow Family Kitchen features state-of-the-art storage solutions, accessibility features, such as ergonomic drawer systems, and adaptable design.
“By working with Blum, we’ve created a space that balances style, function, and affordability while catering to the unique needs of a multi-generational family”, marketing manager of Callerton David Knaggs commented on the project.
Spanning 11.500sqft, the Blum Experience Centre showcases 70 years of history and interactive displays, with partners such as Callerton, welcomed to the space to discuss future plans and collaboration.
Leveraging Blum’s facility, it forms part of Callerton’s ‘Right 1st Time’ initiative, which is based upon helping professionals reduce errors, streamline processes, and drive profitability
With a particular focus on “Heritage, legacy & succession,” Callerton’s partners explored the history of collaboration between Callerton and Blum.
The evening also celebrated retailers who have successfully transitioned their businesses across generations, ensuring continued growth.
Founding director of Callerton James Herriot commented: “For nearly three decades, Callerton and Blum have worked hand-in-hand to innovate and inspire.
“This latest venture not only celebrates our shared history but looks ahead to a future full of opportunities.”
Commenting on the event, marketing manager for Blum UK Krystyna Threlfall added: “The Blum Experience Centre is a space we’re incredibly proud to share with our partners and customers.
“It has been fantastic to see Callerton utilise it following our collaboration on creation of The Willow Family Kitchen.

The day concluded with an evening function, wine tasting, and fine dining experience.
