The £1million mill had a £500,000 renovation to become deVol showroom
Having acquired Cotes Mill in Leicestershire for £1million, in 2012, and following a £500,000 renovation, deVol Kitchens has now moved into its new showroom.
The former 16th century, five storey water mill is grade II listed and had sat empty for more than five years after its most recent incarnation as a pub and restaurant.
It features a 150sqm entrance hall, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mill pond, with the original mill wheel left exposed behind a glass screen.

In addition, deVol Kitchens founder Paul O’Leary teamed up with restorator Andrew Schubberth, who has worked on projects including Notre Dame, to create what is claimed to be the UK’s first self-supporting stone staircase.
As well as being the showroom of deVol Kitchens, Cotes Mill is home to its sister company Floors of Stone.
deVol has been manufacturing bespoke kitchens for the past 25 years, which span three collections; The Real Shaker Kitchen, Classic English Kitchen and Air Kitchen.
