The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has formed a strategic partnership with the Worktop Fabricators Federation (WFF).
The WFF is a non-profit organisation which represents businesses which fabricate large format slabs for surfaces, made from natural stone and man-made materials.
Launched in 2020, the Federation’s objectives and goals are to promote professionalism across the surfaces and stone masonry industries.

It includes the promotion of good working practices and policies for health & safety in the workplace.
A unified voice for the worktop fabrication industry, the WFF has been at the forefront of conversations about quartz surfaces and the potential impact of silica inhalation during cutting and polishing of the material.
As part of the newly-formed relationship, BiKBBI will work with the WFF to provide education, improve standards, nurture collaboration and provide guidance to KBB installers.
BiKBBI CEO Damian Walters commented ‘KBB installation is a multi-skilled trade with many areas of specialism.
“The work that BiKBBI does to support installation businesses and drive positive change is reliant on strong relationships with organisations representing all areas of the sector.
“Surfaces and stone masonry are a significant element of kitchen and bathroom installation, and we are in no doubt that the newly formed relationship with the WFF will deliver significant benefits for both BiKBBI registered installers, the wider installation sector and the worktop fabrication industry.”
