Brassware manufacturer Bristan Group has appointed former Hansgrohe managing director Martin Mongan, as CEO.
Mongan left Hansgrohe in February 2019 to join publishing company Mix Interiors and will return to the bathroom industry as head of the Bristan Group in February 2021.
He succeeds former CEO Darius Padler who will leave the business at the end of 2020.

Ken Ellis, the Group’s chief financial officer will act as interim CEO of the Bristan Group until Martin Mongan takes up his new role.
Padler said: “Martin is a well-known and well-liked industry character with a history of delivering exceptional sales growth in the businesses he has led. This is an exciting appointment for the Group.”
Mongan has over 25 years of industry experience, having held senior role at both Kohler Mira and Jacuzzi UK, before joining Hansgrohe in 2011.
Among his achievements is the transformation of the Hansgrohe business into a leading brand in the showroom and specification channels, having delivered exponential growth in terms of revenue and profit.
At the Bristan Group, Mongan aims to build on the company’s reputation for ‘customer first’ to drive continued sales growth.
