Federation of Kitchen and Bathroom Designers seeking small projects
Organised by the Federation of Kitchen and Bathroom Designers (FKBD), the Marion John Design Award program for small bathroom and kitchen projects is open for entries.
Now in its second year, the awards recognise the imagination and skills needed to create a kitchen or bathroom in a small area.
They are named in honour of freelance designer Marion John, who passed away in 2013, and they follow her belief that everyone deserves good design, no matter size of space or budget.

There are four categories in the awards: Best Kitchen using off the shelf and bespoke products, and Best Bathroom using off the shelf and bespoke products. All bathrooms must be no bigger than 5sqm and kitchens must be a maximum of 10sqm. Where a kitchen is part of an open plan area, including dining and living space, the area will apply to the kitchen section only.
Enter the awards by downloading a form for the Marion John Design Awards and apply online.
The deadline for all the entries is December 31, 2014.
