Burbidge opens showroom featuring The Kitchen Furniture Company sold through showrooms and online
MP Geoffrey Robinson visited Coventry-based kitchen frontal and accessories manufacturer Burbidge, to unveil its showroom and herald the launch of The Kitchen Furniture Company.
The showroom features furniture in ‘real life’ roomsets, including freestanding furniture from The Kitchen Furniture Company, which is made in the same UK workshop as Burbidge.
Managing director Ben Burbidge commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Mr Robinson to mark the launch of our new furniture offering which has been developed in response to consumer buying trends. The new furniture is available to order directly from an e-commerce site, as well as across our nationwide retailer network, giving retailers the commercial edge to offer a whole package solution for this customers and home improvers a convenient shopping experience.

He continued: “As a British brand, with design and manufacturing facilities here in the Midlands, we are able to respond quickly to market demands, ensuring we have the right product at the right time for our retailers and ultimately customers. Burbidge was established in 1867 by the great, great grandfather of the current managing director Ben Burbidge. The company employs 75 staff at its headquarters in Canley, Coventry.
