Following the administration of Mereway Kitchens, British kitchen manufacturer Callerton has reached out to retailers to help fulfil customers’ orders, if required.

Stating a need for solidarity in the KBB community, Callerton said it was the company’s duty to provide support, and is ramping up production at its Sunderland plant in readiness.

Operations and IT director at Callerton Andrew Short stated: “These challenging times underscore the need for solidarity and support within our community.

Exeter-based manufacturer System Six has also reached out to retailers who may need kitchen or bedroom furniture.
